How much could your customers save with the HP E5000?

August 16th, 2010: The HP E5000 Messaging System Value Comparison Tool compares cost and time invested in designing and deploying the fully self-contained and preconfigured HP E5000 against a selected competitive solution in an Exchange 2010 environment.

Start using the tool as part of the conversation with your customer as they look to upgrade to Exchange 2010. The E5000 Messaging System Value Comparison Tool provides a high level comparison of competitive solutions designed for Exchange 2010 using information posted on Microsoft's TechNet Exchange Solution Review Program (ESRP) website. It utilizes data taken from a commissioned study by an independent research firm to provide estimated time and cost for designing and deploying an Exchange 2010 environment. The Time and/or Outsourcing cost is not tied to any particular competitive platform but is simply a comparison of traditional platforms to the fully self-contained and preconfigured E5000. A "Traditional Platform" would consist of deploying multiple hardware components, including multiple servers, storage devices (SAN, DAS or NAS) and networking shipped to the customer site to support an Exchange 2010 deployment. Obviously time and cost will vary depending on size of the deployment and other variables. The competitive configurations may differ in features and functionality, including differences in the number of mailboxes supported and the capacity of the mailboxes. This is not a TCO tool but does provide a report showing some of the differences between the HP E5000 Messaging System and a number of competitive solutions. Potential improvements quoted in Planning and Installation based on the Tolly Report, March 2011.
